As a society, our goals are to:

• Enable patient access to new, branded, and lifechanging medications

• Provide patient support services and a patient navigation program for patients who are prescribed specialty medications in order to improve patient adherence and pull through of difficult to obtain medications

• Provide training and support to office staff and patients to navigate the process of changing these medications

• Enhance public knowledge of life-altering medications that are available

The understanding of many medical conditions has changed significantly over the past two decades and numerous targeted treatments have been developed over that time period. Unfortunately due to restrictions on access, many patients are forced to suffer with chronic skin conditions since many doctors offices do not have the capability of performing the necessary steps to get patients on the necessary medications. The National Biologics Foundation aims to bridge the gap and offer patient access support specialists to help enable patients to get on these life altering medcations 

• Enable patients to enroll in an independent third-party nurse navigator program to help patients and offices get patient on drug faster

• Support patient compliance programs with medications

• Provide support to offices to help enable more seamless prior authorization process
